Recently I had the pleasure of learning more about Textile Tribe. A market place for curated inspiration for creatives who share a passion for prints and textiles. This site is the best inspiration I have come across in years. It has outstanding content that everyone can appreciate.

The functionality is also done well. Nothing is worse than a hard to navigate site that looses you. The clean bright format and simple pages allow the imagery to be the stars. As a creative I also admire that they were not overwhelming me. The last thing I want is to have to sift through a lot of description to get to the key elements. Textile Tribe puts the ease into visual research.

Every week stories are emailed to members and selected content is publicly posted to their site. They encourage sharing on Pinterest, and emailing among others to get the word out about themselves.

The content is amazing! Seriously every time I go to the site I am made aware of some new artist collaboration, print direction that is taking root, or fresh color way. I love that I can search in such an intentional manner that I do not waste time.

The other great feature is that if you are a large company you have the options to buy the prints listed. This is a new idea that in the print community of fashion and home no companies have tried out to my knowledge and done well.
